This photo shows us standing next to our
beautiful ocean view lot in Stella Maris, Long Island. We can hear the call of the ocean and feel the gentle Long Island breeze. The sea is just a minute’s walk down the road. It’s also an easy stroll to the Stella Maris Inn, only half a mile away. We have been friends and associates of the owners of the Stella Maris Resort and Estate for many years.
This high elevation ocean view lot is open zoning, so you can build one large house or two cottages or a 4-plex or four town houses. And there would be room for a swimming pool.
Erskine was born and brought up in Mangrove Bush, Long Island, where we also have
hilltop ocean view acreage. This acreage has spectacular views all around. It’s perfect for development or to build your island hideaway.
We live in Nassau, which is just a forty-minute flight from Stella Maris International Airport or from Deadman’s Cay Airport, Long Island. Erskine is a retired real estate broker. He’s also a guitarist and vocalist and has played at gigs around Long Island, as well as at the Long Island Sailing Regatta, which takes place annually in Salt Pond. I am an author.
I met and married Erskine in Nassau, Bahamas, several decades ago. The first time I saw Long Island was when I stepped down from an Bahamas Airways plane at Deadman’s Cay Airport after we became engaged. I fell in love with the island and the people right away. See my article
